Cinco de Mayo Celebrations around the Triangle

If you aren’t lucky enough to be invited to a local Cinco de Mayo party, the Triangle is full of festive events. While you might think of a Cinco de Mayo as a Mexican holiday where Americans drink a lot of Margaritas. It is really the celebration of an important battle win over the French in the Mexican revolution. In the United States the focus is appropriately switching to a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage. This year as Cinco de Mayo falls on a Saturday there are more parties and specials than normal!
