North Carolina Wine Festival * October 27th 2018

This Saturday, October 27th, NC will be the second installment of the North Carolina Wine Festival. This alcohol-centric event is part of a three-part series across central NC paying homage to the regions rich wine presence.

This weekends’ event is from 12-6 PM at Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park at North Hills in Raleigh.

For those of you looking for fun fall activities- this promises to deliver. You can come check out local/regional wineries and vineyards with tastings and wine for purchase. Your old favorites plus new and upcoming deliciousness will be featured! One entry fee provides unlimited tastings with a standard tasting pour. Since this is an adult featured event, children are generally discouraged but children 16 and under are free with adult ticket purchase.

Here is a link to the list of participating wineries. Keep in mind- this isn’t a grape specific event- you will see meaderies, spirit producers as well as ciderworks on the list!

Live music will be onsite to serenade the drinkers with three bands catering to whatever style you prefer. Rayland Baxter, The Shakedown Band and the Brent Stimmel Band will all be on hand to entertain while you sip.

Also present will be a long list of vendors pedaling arts, crafts, merchandise, food and more.
